50th Anniversary of Expo '67
Next year will mark the 50th anniversary of Expo '67, a watershed moment in the history of Montreal and Canada. To prepare for the celebrations, we've been remastering more and more footage of the event. Over 300 unedited shots, many in brilliant colour, now wait to be discovered at NFB ARCHIVES. For a small sample of what's available, take a ride on the Minirail through Buckminster Fuller's iconic geodesic dome.
Montreal's 375th
2017 will also mark the 375th anniversary of Montreal itself. With countless HD films and footage dating back 115 years, NFB ARCHIVES is the best place to find images of this fair city. Luc Bourdon delved deep into our collection from the 1940s, '50s and '60s to weave together his love letter to Montreal, The Memories of Angels. Get inspired by watching it today!
