How to Change the World
Our cameras were there in 1971 when a group of young activists set sail from Vancouver in an old fishing boat to stop US atomic bomb testing on the tiny island of Amchitka. This would be the maiden voyage of Greenpeace and the birth of the modern environmental movement. You can watch for our captivating footage of this historic event in the much-lauded documentary How to Change the World by Jerry Rothwell, or view it right now at NFB Images!
Summit to Combat Climate Change
At the end of the month, governments from around the world will meet in Paris to "reach a new and universal climate change agreement." Our stock footage is a unique record of the world's changing climate over the decades--visual evidence of its effects in the Far North in particular.
